[ Oh, that bravado. He really does remind Tracks of Bumblebee, or perhaps Bluestreak. Bluestreak, without the tendency to ramble. ]

[ He knows what war is like, and what Knock Out is like. He's not going to like this, is he? But then again...

He's a sadist. I get war brings the worst out of us. But, there's something dangerous behind his glamour.

I was captured and brought aboard the Warship. I was tied down. He looked eager to cut into me... but instead, he used my Phase Shifter and reached into my chest...

Because see...I'm a taxi for one of the Keys that would restore Cybertron...

He probably didn't think anything of it, just doing his job of retrieval. But I never felt so... Look... Just be careful. Maybe this truce will change us all for the better but.. Just watch your back.

[ Tracks suddenly wishes this conversation was happening face to face, not separated by screens and distance. Sadly, it's not even the worst thing Tracks has ever heard a Decepticon do, not even a Decepticon medic. The Constructicons as a whole spring to mind, and then Shockwave's spectre. But, in the end... It doesn't matter. All that does, is that it hurt this newbuilt. ]

...You never should have had to deal with that, Smokescreen. All of it. [ The 'taxi', the violation. On both ends of the war, it feels like. ]

[ He rolls the thought in his head a moment, testing its weight, and then... ] Do you know a mech named Sunstreaker?

[ Smokescreen is silent a brief moment trying to recall a name. ]

Its familiar, but I think he was gone by the time I entered the war.

Sunstreaker - my Sunstreaker - is a vicious, uncaring son of a glitch who more often than not only thinks about himself and his twin. [ It's blunt, and Tracks knows Sunstreaker would probably even agree with him. ] He and his twin are known as Seeker killers, among my Autobots- They rip the wings off of them, when they can. I've seen it.

Sunstreaker himself has a sword, made of one of those wings. He can be wholly, utterly cruel. Sadistic even, to use your words. He has- Problems that contribute to this, problems that affect his world view, but the point is he still has the choice to be cruel to his enemies, and so often he takes it when his brother isn't there to remind him.

It doesn't make it right. It doesn't make his actions excusable, even if they are done in the name of our cause. And what Knock Out did to you wasn't right either, in just the same vein.

But Sunstreaker is still my friend. If I can handle Sunstreaker... I can handle Knock Out. So don't worry about me, alright? [ Tracks smiles, soft and a little tired. He's going to have to chat with Knock Out about this, he thinks. ]

I'm more worried about you, Smokescreen. You know the smaller Ratchet is a therapist, right? I think you really need to talk to him. He may be able to help; there's no shame in asking for such things when you need them.

If you say you'll be safe, you'll be safe... I will take some thought about seeing a therapist.

I still need to get my t cog another check up. I think its slipped again. [ He laughs alittle and sighs. ]

My body is a mess right now. I wish my Ratchet was here

...I know how you feel. There's mechs I wish were here too.

But I don't think there's any use dwelling on it too much, okay? It's okay to miss them, but... Thinking too hard on it isn't going to help you. Make friends with those that are here, and talk to the Ratchet that you can see. He'll be good to you, I'm sure.

…Is it more comfortable for you to have these talks through video, like this? If we were face to face I could at least give you a hug. [ It’s a tease, an attempt to lighten the mood just a little. ]

Its not safest. But I just don't like people seeing me weak is all.

I've been underestimated alot since joining Team Prime. I was an Elite Guard of Alpha Trion... you't think I'd get alittle more... never mind.

A hug would be nice, next time you see me. Go for it.

...I think all of us are a little weak, sometimes. But that's when you turn to your friends; we are a social species, after all. And as a newcomer, you're going to be protected a bit. Primus knows we do the same to Bumblebee back home sometimes, and Bluestreak before him.

You remind me a lot of Bluestreak, actually. I think you two would have gotten along.

I suppose, but... I took care of myself just fine before. I saved myself twice from Con's snatching me up... you'd think the first time would of given me a tiny bit of respect.

By how you describe it, it sounds less a matter respect and more they're worried for you. Overly so, sounds like. Which isn't good either, but... If you get home, you should talk to them about it.
