One of the Proxy Hotel staff comes by to deliver ONE BOOLEAN to you!
"This was left for you at the front desk a few moments ago," they say. "I'm afraid I didn't get the name of the person who left it, but they wanted to make sure it got to you." ]
If you're interested, I've been working on a new tri-metallic gloss formula... specifically targets the 540-700 nanometer wavelength range, perfect for a neon-heavy environment.
[ Look, Knock Out is super vain but he's also a nerd. ]
There are very few mechs who can pull off a black paintjob, although I've seen some very nice iridescent black ones that manage all right.
If I never see another matte black grill however, it'll be too soon. Why would humans think that's a good idea? Why the sudden hatred for chrome? What designer woke up one morning and thought, "I know what our product line needs, a little bit of schoolhouse chalkboard colour on an otherwise perfectly fine looking vehicle"? It's inconceivable.
Oh, don't get me started. Most of the Autobots I know with black paint jobs aren't pulling off anything, and of the few that do... Well, one of them is a newbuilt, which I'm sure says all. And the Decepticons... Three words: black and purple.
Primus, has that become a proper trend where you're from? I shudder to think of that properly catching on back home.
[ But it's fine, because Tracks can be right there with him. ]
Well... yes, it has. I mean the Vehicons are the most plentiful example of it, but there are others. And that's not even touching on the standard decor theme.
[ Look, he may know not to knock his position as the Nemesis' current CMO aloud, but really the Decepticon flagship could have used a few more lightbulbs. It was so incredibly gloomy... and that was when it wasn't spurred back into sentience and stasis-locking them all!
He has no idea where Tracks has been inhabiting since his arrival, and he doubts the Autobot would tell him anyway. So Knock Out sends a location ping to Tracks' device, a glass-roofed but largely unused building on the east side of the Core. A nice neutral location. ]

Oh, I am most certainly interested! Some of this lighting makes me look black you know, and black just isn't my colour!

Oh dear.
Well, I'll have to tell you all about the mess of paint jobs I've seen on both sides when I get there.
[ The fact it's so clearly a neutral spot definitely puts him at ease. It's oddly nice, to think the Decepticon would be so thoughtful. ]
